Biography
Cheryl Bain has always had questions. She learned many answers during her BSc and looked for more as a graduate student. However, Cheryl remained curious about many things outside her chemistry program. She realized that the best place to feed her curiosity was where her besieged parents had taken her in self-defense against constant questions – the library. So, she escaped the science lab and completed her masters degree in library and information science.
As a library professional, Cheryl is eager to help other people learn about the tools that will guide them to the information they need to accurately answer their questions.
Cheryl has published non-fiction in academic library and chemistry journals and is an aspiring genre fiction writer.
In her fiction, Cheryl (as Dawn Bain) aims to draw readers in with well researched story details as a foundation for the suffering of her characters. She insists her nefarious plots are fictional, no real-world bodies have been connected to her.
Cheryl spends much of her time in libraries, writing, or tutoring. Cheryl is enthusiastic about meeting new people and cats, collecting craft supplies, and occasionally using those collections for sewing and crochet.
